Brendan Frederick is a 30-year-old writer and editor who has been working in print and online media since 2002. He served as the editor-in-chief of both Mass Appeal Magazine and Scratch Magazine, and also co-created XXL Magazine’s website in 2006. As a freelance writer, his work has also appeared in publications like Vibe, The Fader, Missbehave and XXL’s Hip-Hop Soul. Since 2008, Brendan has worked as the Deputy Editor at Complex Magazine, where he oversees the magazine’s daily website. He lives in Brooklyn, NY, where he maintains a mainframe computer with an MP3 database of every song ever.
